videocamBelieve it or not, YouTube is not the only site worth distributing and promoting your video content on. Granted, it is, by far, the most popular. So by all means, upload your videos to YouTube! Then, consider uploading those videos to some more sites.

There are a few additional video-sharing websites out there with a growing number of subscribers worth posting your videos on.

Here’s a list of my top ten YouTube alternative sites:

  1. Flickr Video
  2. Hulu.com
  3. Vimeo
  4. Yahoo Video
  5. Google Video
  6. Daily Motion
  7. Truveo
  8. Break
  9. PhotoBucket
  10. 4Shared

So, spread that online video love around a little! Go ahead, try posting your video content to some YouTube alternatives.

Another option for Video sharing is http://www.RedGage.com. The RedGage Community allows video sharing and broadcasting tools. You can use a YouTube importer and also make money from your page views.

I plan on moving all my videos and hopefully most of my large subscriber base away from youtube. It is sad when haters out there dont like your video and it is well inside the guidelines of their “TOS” and gets flagged and removed. My suggestion is move away from any company that offers advertising. The moment i declined advertising from youtube they flagged my videos and removed them. Youtube is a scam and lost all of its creditability. I guess unless your a cute 13 year old boy who sings or a left wing crazed activist, you have no place in youtube anyways. I am looking for a non biased alternative or i might just make one myself.

Yah, youtube also removes any sound you add that they deem copyright violations. Very disappointed.

Liveleak.com is an actual “alternative” to what you have listed here.
All of these options are basically “controlled by the man” ; )

Good share . Thanks for the list

@ peledies
Youtube was indeed bought over by Google , but Google Video and Youtube are 2 separate sites , Google video sucks tho , given its from big G , they should revamp the whole system .

Nevertheless Good Post
